Meet Mrs. Damore
I have taught 5th grade at Salem for the past 4 years and now onto my new adventure as a 1st grade teacher. This will be my sixth year teaching. In 2010 I graduated from Roger Williams University earning a BA in both Elementary Education and Psychology. I continued at Adelphi University to receive a Master’s Degree in Special Education by 2012, While completing my Master's Degree I substitute taught, completed leave replacements, and worked in a self contained classroom.
I was born and raised on Long Island, NY. I am apart of an amazing family that includes my two sisters and my brother. I recently got married to the love of my life in May and got our first home together this past August in Apex, NC. We have a handsome puppy named Cameron, whom we love so much. My philosophy is that every single student must succeed. As an educator, it is my job to believe in my students in order for them to believe in themselves. My mission is to provide a high-quality education that empowers students to achieve full intellectual and social potential. The goal of developing lifelong learners and productive members of society is one I greatly respect. |
